Crayfish trapping is prohibited on all of our lakes.  Crayfish trapping is prohibited in the UK without a licence issued by the Environment Agency. Kirtlington Fisheries does not permit crayfish trapping therefore obtaining a licence to trap in our waters is not possible.

 

We will remove any traps we find and anyone caught trapping will be reported to the Environment Agency and is liable for prosecution.
